At first glance one might think that the artist is on a building in the first image and the artists is spraying water from a hose in the second piece. But actually both pieces are made with 2D materials to create a 3D look. This artist is Julian Beever, and this is all he does. His work is insanely interesting to me, and i would pay a lot of money to someday have one of his works in or around my house.

I really enjoy the second image here. It does a great job on creating the illusion of 3d objects. Between the lighting, the colors, and just the spatial arrangement of things, its incredibly well done.
